After announcing that she was pregnant, TikTok star Julie Lorentzen tearsfully revealed that she had an miscarriage after the embryo in her “stopped growing.”

Two weeks after the TikToker confirmed the news of her pregnancy with her partner Camilla Lorentzen, the 27-year-old revealed she was recently informed that the embryo inside her “stopped in its development”. As well as “could never make it out of my uterus” which led to a requirement for what she called “treatment for missed abortions or miscarriages.” (A missed miscarriage happens when embryonic tissue remains in the uterus but the embryo is dead, according to the Mayo Clinic.)
Alongside an tears-filled TikTok footage, Julie wrote on January. 4 “i am not this vulnerable online before and sharing this information is very scary for me however, i am aware that there are many experiencing this exact situation in our midst and the need to be aware is vital.”
A social media sensation who began her in vitro fertility journey in August, continued to announce the couple Camilla “will try again during our next cycle, and will get our rainbow baby” she added that Camilla will undergo the process of retrieving eggs again “as the embryo we’ve left isn’t quite as high in quality as we’d have liked the embryo to be.”
Julie said, “this will be a adventure for sure We’re grateful to have you close to us through all of this and we’ll come back more determined than we have ever been.”
The accompanying video featured footage of the couple’s story and included photos of Camilla helping a tearful Julie.
“my queen was by me throughout the entire process,” Julie wrote. “I was in such discomfort and she was always by my side, chatting with me back through my cramps and reminding me that this would strengthen us.”
The couple have been keeping track of their IVF journey via social media. As well as getting married at the Thailand wedding ceremony in the month of July. Based on one of Julie’s earlier video blogs she as well as Camilla both had to undergo egg retrieval procedures. However, only Julie was able to proceed with the transfer of embryos.
