In case you’ve been unable to catch 2022, it was a major season for Keke Palmer. Not just did she provide voiceovers to the Toy Story spinoff Lightyear and Lightyear, but she also played an importantA part in the Oscar-hyped Jordan Peele the alien epic The film was a complete failure. So far, it’s been it’s out of the ordinary.

To cap off an amazing season, Keke hosts an appearance on Saturday Night Live last week. A significant event that has been done by the biggest stars like Adele as well as Megan Thee Stallion.

Announcing the pregnancy

To celebrate the occasion, Keke decided to weigh on the baby rumors that Keke explained had started to circulate. In her monologue opening she stated “People have been making comments saying “Keke’s expecting a baby,” she’s pregnant and I’m here to clear the air.” At this point, she broke out of her coat to show a bump and said “I am!”

“I must say that it’s not a good thing when internet users make up rumors about you however it’s much more problematic when they’re accurate,” she said.

“I tried to keep things under wraps since I was dealing with lots happening,” she then continued. “You are aware that people keep calling me to say ‘Congratulations’ and I was like, ‘Shh do you want to stop? I’ve got a liquor sponsorship that was on the line.”
