Kiersten Rich is better known as the ebullient face behind her travel blog, The Blonde Abroad. She left her career in corporate finance to become a world traveler and has traveled to over 70 countries, knocking some big adventures off her bucket list!

Born in California, now based in Cape Town, South Africa, Kiersten Rich started blogging in 2012 after leaving her career in corporate wealth management. She decided to take a hiatus to spend three months travelling abroad. In what turned out to be a life changing experience, her three-month journey would eventually pave the way for a life as a full-time traveler. She launched The Blonde Abroad, a solo female travel blog. In the years since, she’s traveled to more than 70 countries (scuba diving in many of them) and has amassed nearly one million followers. She aims to inspire female travelers all over the globe to explore the earth from land to sea.
